Introduction
Our Goal
The goal of the Pathway to Cure Project is to develop and implement evidence-based clinical pathways to address needs of young breast cancer patients. The project will extend to Oncology Care Providers in rural Nebraska to initiate and support access to Multidisciplinary Conference.
This project is supported by a grant from Pfizer Inc. through a collaborative project with the NCCN (National Comprehensive Cancer Network) Oncology Research Program.

The Pathway to Cure project was conceived of and developed by a team of multidisciplinary experts in the field oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center under the leadership of Dr. Elizabeth Reed, M.D, Professor, Internal Medicine, Division of Oncology & Hematology and Dr. Robin Lally, PhD, RN, AOCN, FAAN, College of Nursing.
